For the purposes of this fantasy, for the purpose of creating The Lemurian Mysteries, the premise is that Lemuria was a matriarchal society that sprang from a cosmic egg, that it was the site of the first Garden of Eden, was the place where people lived in peace and harmony. Membership is strictly restricted to Lemurian Elders whose hearts are filled with the ethos of Lemuria.
You've got me thinking now, who can help with a tune I keep circulating in my head, the song is called something to do with "Xanadu" and the words go something like: "For they shall dine on honeydew, and (...) they shall drink the milk of Paradise"??? It was a group in the 80's who turned the theme into an epic song, but the rest of it escapes me. It's a bit of a muddle. (Monika)

Olivia Newton John and ELO both recorded a song about Xanadu but it does not include these lines. Saint Irony is at work because I just sent you an article about the Grotto della Sibilla which talks about the land of milk and honey and is a so called earthly paradise.
It's so strange! I just rushed to your email and then I found the lyrics to the song, which I have posted with credits. I love your dry wit about ONJ and ELO. Saint Irony IS at work. If I see myself in a place here, it's always standing by the scrolls, like I think Fran said, partaking of the wisdom within these walls. Back to the email and there is more irony in there too....
